BTA Speaker renews oath as UBJP member

COTABATO CITY - Bangsamoro Parliament Speaker Atty. Pangalian Balindong recently renewed his oath as a member of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), the political party of the former rebel group Moro Islamic Liberation Front. 

 

The ceremony took place in the presence of BARMM Chief Minister and UBJP President Ahod Ebrahim and other high-ranking party officials. Ebrahim and Balindong also led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the newly established UBJP headquarters in Cotabato City. 

The renewal of Speaker Balindong's oath shows his commitment to the principles and goals of the UBJP, which have an important part in advocating for justice and unity in the Bangsamoro region, according to Ebrahim.

 

“Our positions, whether long-held or freshly acquired, carry the responsibility of representing the aspirations of our community. We must resist any temptation to prioritize individual gains over the well-being of the Bangsamoro people,” Balindong said. 

 

At the 1st general assembly of the UBJP, Balindong also urged members to remain firm in your commitment to the interests of the Bangsamoro people. “Let the principles of justice, unity, and progress guide us in our political journey. May Allah SWT guide us in our endeavors and bless our efforts for the greater good,” he said. (BSO, Mindanao Examiner)
