COTABATO CITY – The Bangsamoro Parliament is eyeing for the approval of the proposed Bangsamoro Revenue Code (BRC) before October after the Committee on Ways and Means (CWM) agreed to hold focused group discussions with various stakeholders and experts in Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Davao, Manila, and Pampanga.

Chair Atty. Paisalin Tago emphasized the importance of passing the BRC, which
will regulate the levy, assessment, and collection of all regional taxes, fees,
and charges within the region.
In a recent meeting, Finance, Budget, and Management Minister Atty. Ubaida Pacasem presented a proposal for a benchmarking learning course to equip lawmakers with insights into autonomous government structures and financial systems.
Meanwhile,
the Parliament's Policy Research and Legal Services presented research on the
taxes currently covered by BARMM and potential avenues for additional revenue
