COTABATO CITY - Recognizing the role of Islamic institutions in promoting peace in the Bangsamoro region, two prominent institutions from Marawi City and ligan City have been granted financial assistance from the office of Member of Parliament Said Shiek.
The assistance, facilitated through the Ministry of
Public Order and Safety's Vulnerable, Neglected, and Marginalized Institutions
program, is intended for the repair, provision of materials, and essential
resources for mosques and madrasahs.
Funded through the Transitional Development Impact Fund of MP Said Shiek, the initiative underscores a concerted effort to streamline the operations of these Islamic institutions and enable them to effectively carry out their roles in advancing peace-building efforts in the region.
