COTABATO CITY - To help improve the living conditions of Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities within the Special Geographic Area, the Office of the Member of Parliament, Dr. Kadil Sinolinding Jr., provided cash aid and solar lights.
The distribution of financial assistance and solar
equipment aims to empower marginalized areas by providing them with necessary
resources. The aid was distributed to IP members classified as out-of-school
adults, as well as students undergoing NCI and NCII training.
MP Sinolinding also turned over the whole set of
solar panels to improve safety and enable various activities even after sunset.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude, emphasizing that it was their first time
receiving such assistance.
The projects were funded through the Transitional
Development Impact Fund (TDIF) in partnership with the Ministry of Indigenous
Peoples Affairs. (LTAIS-Public Information, Publication, and Media Relations
