BINGOPLUS is kicking off Pride Month in style, having recently co-presented the MIABE: Makuleng Pulayi 2026 run on June 7 at the CDC Parade Grounds in Pampanga, seamlessly blending physical fitness, inclusivity, and elevated entertainment.
Working with one of Pampanga’s passionate LGBTQ+ organizations, whose name, “Miabe,” means “together” in the Kapampangan language, the DigiPlus-owned BingoPlus made sure participants of the casual footrace got their time and money’s worth with a loaded booth activation.
Like in other events and fun runs, the number one and most trusted Filipino online entertainment platform BingoPlus handed out useful post-run merchandise in loot bags, much to the delight of the morning's runners of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
A well-known high-energy running event in Pampanga, the MIABE Makuleng Pulayi 2026 aimed to blend athletic endurance with community celebration.
"Pulayi" translates to "run" in Kapampangan, grounding the event in its local culture, while "Makuleng" highlights a vibrant theme, signifying the colorful Pride festivities associated with the event.
In addition to being both a competitive and casual race, depending on the category, this year’s edition featured a full-day Pride celebration that brought together fitness enthusiasts, LGBTQ+ allies, and the local Pampanga community to promote health, inclusivity, and vibrant self-expression.
After the 4 AM race gun start, MIABE then held a vibrant float parade at 4 PM before ending the daylong celebration with a 7 PM concert. Runners, allies, and drag queens came together in solidarity to promote and protect their rights and way of life.
Now and moving forward, BingoPlus also expresses its full support not only for MIABE but also for the LGBTQ+ community as a whole. For BingoPlus, the rainbow shines bright year-round, not just for a single month. (PR)
