GLAN, Sarangani - Maxim Rides & Food Delivery extended relief assistance to families affected by the recent earthquake in Glan, Sarangani. The company distributed rice and bottled water to residents of Barangay Kiogam and Barangay Rio Del Pilar to help meet their immediate needs.
The relief distribution was carried out in cooperation with Richard Ebona, a media partner and resident of Glan, Sarangani, who helped coordinate the initiative and ensure the assistance reached the affected families.
“Napakalaking tulong nito para sa amin na naapektuhan ng 7.8 magnitude na lindol. Taos-puso kaming nagpapasalamat sa Maxim sa ipinagkaloob nitong tulong sa mga pamilya sa Barangay Kiogam, kung saan hindi palaging nakararating ang ayuda. Malaki ang pasasalamat ng mga residente sa suportang kanilang natanggap,” said Richard Ebona.
According to Dondon Pasigado, Head of Maxim General Santos, the company remained committed to extending assistance to families affected by the earthquake. “We hope this assistance helps ease the burden of the affected families as they recover from the earthquake. Due to the remoteness of these communities, aid often cannot reach them quickly during emergencies, making this support all the more important,” Pasigado said.
The relief effort reflects Maxim’s commitment to supporting communities during times of crisis through timely assistance and meaningful partnerships. Beyond providing ride-hailing and delivery services, the company continues to support initiatives that help communities recover from disasters and other emergencies. (PR)
