Alice Guo arrested in Jakarta

THE DEPARTMENT  of Justice (DOJ) on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo, also known as Guo Hua Ping, in Tangerang City, Jakarta, Indonesia.



Immigration workers not yet in the clear over Guo’s escape

JUSTICE SECRETARY Jesus Remulla said Wednesday his office is not ready to concede that there had been no involvement by immigration personnel in the exit of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo out of the country despite a Look-out Bulletin Order (ILBO) on her.

Guo probes may polish late registration rules

A DEPARTMENT  of Justice (DOJ) official on Tuesday said congressional inquiries over dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo’s citizenship and business dealings may hopefully result in legislation which would plug the holes in the system of late birth registration.
