Govt., MNLF agree on new joint peace committee
SULU - The Philippine government and the former rebel group Moro National Liberation Front have agreed to reconstitute its joint Peace Coordinating Committee into the Peace Implementing Committee in an effort to carry out the full implementation of the peace accord signed by both sides in September 1996.

2 MNLF groups in Sulu unite for peace
SULU – For the sake of peace, the leaders of two opposing Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) groups in the southern Philippine province of Sulu have finally agreed to unite following a recent mediation facilitated by Vice Governor Totoh Tan.
