House approves P5.768-T budget for 2024
THE HOUSE of Representatives on Wednesday approved on the third and final reading the proposed PHP5.768-trillion national budget for next year with a 296-3 vote with no abstentions.

5 men arrested for extortion in North Cotabato
NORTH COTABATO – Police arrested 5 people - who posed
as media members and employees of the Games and Amusement Board – after they
allegedly tried to extort money from a cockpit operator in North Cotabato’s
Magpet town, officials said Monday.
Officials said the men also introduced themselves
as media members from T-Radio Davao when they asked P25,000 from the cockpit
operator.
