AFTER THE Covid-19 pandemic delayed the opening of the newly-rehabilitated Paseo del Mar in Zamboanga City is now finally open to the public and the make-over boasts of child-friendly playground and colorful designs that would rival modern parks in Mindanao.

Zambo Children’s Park opening soon

THE LOCAL government is set to open to the public Zamboanga’s own Children’s Park at the “new” Paseo del Mar where the sprawling playground is expected to draw a huge crowd this summer.

Zambo lines up more infra projects

MORE INFRA projects are lined up in Zamboanga as Mayor Beng Climaco fulfils her promises and among these are flood control system, solar-power street lights, parking building, hospitals and health care facilities, among others.

She said for this year alone, the local government with the support of the City Council, allocated P50 million for a multi-layered parking building. Flood control projects and new road network worth over P300 million are also on the table.
