PDIC pays deposit insurance to depositors of the closed Rural Bank of Polomolok

KIDAPAWAN CITY - The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) has started paying deposit insurance through Postal Money Orders (PMOs) to all depositors eligible for outright payment who maintained deposits with the closed Rural Bank of Polomolok (South Cotabato), Inc.

Bangko Sentral closes Rural Bank of Polomolok

KORONADAL CITY – The Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said it has prohibited Rural Bank of Polomolok in South Cotabato from doing business and ordered the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) to take over the problematic bank.
