3 Visayan universities get EU grant
THREE VISAYAN universities - Western Visayas State University, University of San Carlos, University of the Visayas – were among six schools awarded by the European Union (EU) some P12.1 million worth of grants that would put access to justice for women and girls at the center of their respective clinical legal education programs.

USC, German partner to develop low-cost ventilator
THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu City and the Max Planck Institute of Chemistry (MPIC) in Mainz, Germany are currently working to develop a low-cost ventilator system for tropical indoor environments to curb further spread of airborne viruses, according to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
