TRAVELLERS ARRIVING at the Zamboanga International Airport will now enjoy prompt taxi service after the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines and the City Government formally signed an accord with Asia's Latin City Transport Services Cooperative.

Mayor Beng Climaco, who graced the launching ceremony, thanked airport authorities and other stakeholders, saying the taxi service will eliminate overcharging by unscrupulous and independent cabbies.

Santos said they will also make a similar arrangement with operators and
drivers tricycles at the airport after passengers complained of overcharging by
