THE COMMISSION on Elections reminded political candidates running in the May polls that it has designated the vacant lot in front of the Zamboanga City Integrated Terminal as a common poster area.
COMELEC Election Officers lawyers Verly Adanza and Stephen Roy Cañete have met with Supervising Transportation Regulation Officer Rafael Derick Evangelista III about this.
The poll officers said the campaign period for national candidates will begin on February 8 and March 25 for those seeking local elective positions. The campaign period for both local and national positions will end on May 7.
Evangelista also said the overpass at the bus terminal remains to be a no poster-no billboard zone. (Zamboanga Post)
