Orientation and Handbook: Essential Tools for Employee Integration

THERE ARE some government employees who lack knowledge about their duties, responsibilities, the laws governing their employment, and their obligations, among other things. These employees should undergo an orientation session with their respective human resource offices to familiarize themselves with the government's expectations.

This includes understanding their GSIS contributions, health and retirement benefits, uniform policies, and other significant matters. The orientation is of utmost importance as it ensures that employees are well-informed and adequately prepared for their roles within the organization. When employees have a better understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and benefits, it creates a fair and transparent work environment. It also helps establish a professional and supportive atmosphere.

Another important tool for government employees is a comprehensive handbook. This handbook is given to employees when they start working for the government.
