Sara Duterte resigns from own regional political party only to join Lakas-CMD

DAVAO CITY Mayor Sara Duterte has resigned Thursday from her own regional political party Hugpong ng Pagbabago only to join the Lakas-CMD, a national political party which she could use as a platform to declare her presidential candidacy.

DAVAO CITY – A latest survey by the independent PUBLiCUS Asia Inc. showed a noticeable drop of President Rodrigo Duterte’s approval rating from 65% to 58%, and trust rating also fell from 55% to 50%.
