Government pledges more COVOD-19 medicines
THE LOCAL government continues its mass vaccination program as it targets to inoculate at least 70% of the nearly one million population to be able to achieve herd immunity against the deadly COVID-19.
MAYOR BENG Climaco, head of the local Covid-19 task force, praised the Ateneo de Zamboanga University and two of Zamboanga City’s largest shopping malls - the KCC Mall de Zamboanga and SM City Mindpro - for offering their facilities as vaccination sites and further boosting the local government’s mass inoculation program.
WHILE MANY commercial establishments in Zamboanga City have priority lanes for frontliners, the UnionBank of the Philippines branch along Mayor Jaldon Street has none.
