IPs aspire for recognition of their rights, calls for passage of bill

TAWI-TAWI — Indigenous peoples (IPs) in Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi anticipate the passage of BTA Bill No. 273, also known as the Bangsamoro Indigenous Peoples Development Act (BIPDA) of 2024, as it is step towards recognition and empowerment.

Office of BARMM Chief Minister gets huge chunk of Covid funds

COTABATO CITY – The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao or BARMM said it released over P1.9 billion in response to the novel coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic, and the Office of Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim got a huge chunk of the funds.
