ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police were investigating the grisly murder of a 37-year old Muslim man whose headless body was found on an island off the southern Philippine port city of Zamboanga.

Coast Guard rescues 6 boat passengers off Basilan

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A Philippine Coast Guard patrol has rescued Thursday six people, including three minors, after the engine of their motorized boat malfunctioned off the southern province of Basilan.

Sacol Islanders vaccinated

HUNDREDS OF residents from Landang Gua, Pasilmanta, Landang Laum and Busay had been vaccinated against Covid-19 after Mayor Beng Climaco dispatched a team of medical frontliners from the City Health Office (CHO) to Sacol Island off Zamboanga to ensure the inhabitants are also protected from the deadly disease.

THE LOCAL government and residents of Pasilmanta in Sacol Island off Zamboanga thanked the Addiyah Foundation and the Al-Risalah Radio Zamboanga, Inc. for a water project that provide clean water for many families there.
